Opened in 2003, the Mosque of Granada is composed of three main, contrasting elements. These are the garden, the prayer hall (which is properly speaking the mosque itself) and the Centre for Islamic Studies.

I went to this masjid for Jummah a couple of times. It is a beautiful masjid with an active community (predominantly Muslims from North Africa). Believe it or not, this masjid which opened in 2003 was the first masjid in Granada since the Alambra was conquered and shut down !! The masjid is located on a hill and has a great view of the Alambra.
